Which is worse?

Being a ranked team throughout the entire pre-conference season only to go 1-5 once conference play starts?

Or being the BEast champs only a year ago to struggling the next year with a number of embarrassing losses?

Or being a highly ranked, well talked about program that gets the crap blown out of it to an unranked opponent who was projected to lose by 10+ points?

There is no getting around how much today sucked. No way in hell we should be losing by even one point when we are up double digits with 6 minutes left. But it's hard being a Marquette fan because we are in every game and can always find reasons why we should have won. I'd rather be that than any of the above options. I'd rather feel like we competed but lost rather than not being in the game at all.

Now if you'll excuse me, there is a bottle of tequila that need to finish.
