I love the kid but today was definitely a performance to forget.

CTWarrior

Kid plays great D but right now does more harm than good when we have the ball.

I wonder about Buzz's short bench.  Not so much for Blue, but the other guys get so little PT that when they do get in the game they seem lost.  Gardner and Williams, particularly, did big damage to MU in their minute or two of action.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

NickelDimer

He looked lost today.  Completely unsure of what he was doing.

What's to discuss--aside from his fouls, he was a non factor.

It is much more fun beating up on the Bu's; Buzz and Buycks.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Then I'll take a swing at one of them.  Blue starts out this way quite a bit.  Inexcusable to only have him playing 5 minutes.  Especially when we needed someone who could play good defense when everyone else was choking.

There will be better days for Vander.

Maybe, but his offensive game is pretty lousy for a blue-chip recruit.  It's four on five when he's in the game now.

Cadougan, Otule, Gardner, EWill, and Jones leave a lot to be desired on offense as well.

I think that's a bit extreme. He is a decent passer most of the time, and drives to the hoop pretty well. He needs to work on his jumpshot, and his finishing at the rim is maybe 66% of what it should be, but I really think one off-season can correct most of that.

The reason Vander didn't play was because he wanted two ball handers in there and Junior had a pretty decent game...until the last couple of minutes.

Mr. Nielsen

Vander can handle the ball. Only 5 minutes for Vander. It's seems like Buzz plays the same 5 guys in the final 10 minutes of a game.

One of them has shown moves on offense.

Two of them never play.

The other two have played a total of 30 games between them in three years of eligibility.

They should suck. Wait, am I not allowed to engage in excuse making?

Yeah, it's almost like they're freshmen and sophomores who haven't played that much yet or developed to theri full potential yet.  Not everybody is John Wall or Carmelo Anthony.
