It seems like the normal post-rivalry loss crap is going on with the forum.

Yeah, this loss sucks.  Along with the other 4-5 last second losses we've had against the Ville in recent years.  The same with the 4-5 last second losses they've had against us.

In the long run it's just another game to stoke the rivalry.

Am I glad we lost?  unnatural carnal knowledge no.  I'm drunk at noon and pissed off going into the Packers game tonight.

Am I glad that L'ville hasn't fallen off like DePaul and Cinci?   Yes.  We'll get them in the BEast tourney if this world is just.

They've had the better end of the stick in this rivalry for a few years now.  We really needed today to even things up.

We needed Butler to hit that last shot today. That would have been justice. They've had the upper hand for far too long. Our best wins against them feel like they're all 5+ years ago. Just had another look at the top 10 game list. They are. Complete crap. We have to actually rip their hearts out once in a while for this to be a rivalry.
