Kansas State - I think they'll get in, and its been too long since we've played against Coach Huggins.

I disagree... as I recall, we didn't fare too well against many of those Huggins coached teams!

No thanks on Drexel or VCU.  Air Force...sure.  ODU...I'd take my chances.  VCU and Drexel scare the hell out of me...very good teams.

MSU has struggled offensively and our guards are better than their guards.  I would take my chances with them.

I want no part of the Lopez twins from Stanford. They would eat us alive inside. So I hope we don't play them. I want no part of Winthrop. They have nice inside/outside balance to their team. Something that gives us a lot of problems. I also want no part of Georgia Tech. Thaddeus Young would be hard for us to stop. And Critteton is a nice frosh. PG for them.

I would love to play Purdue, or Illinois... Big Ten trash that is mediocre at best, and has 1 or 2 good players, the rest average, especially Purdue.... Carl Landry, an average big man that the Big Ten makes look like a superstar

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

If Landry is an "average big man" I'd love to hear what you think of Oden, because Landry dropped 24 on one of the best, if not the best, defensive post players in the nation.  And frankly, Illinois' bevy of big men doesn't look all that attractive to face either (although I still think MU would beat the Illini).  I've always said that given the choice, I'll take the middling big conference opponent over the successful and hungry small conference opponent.  And I'll stick to that.  But I certainly don't think Carl Landry is average.  Add him to MU and I think you might have a serious national contender.

Michigan State.  I get a crack at local bragging rights, and Crean VS. Izzo, his old boss.

I think it will be a 6 seed against from among Gonzaga, Winthrop or Purdue/Illinois.

:'(  Could the moderator please delete my above post?  I would like to forget that I ever thought this was a good idea.  I wanted to play Florida A&M, yeah yeah, that's the ticket.
