One of those games.

They are at home and I am shocked that we are within 12 right now at under 12 T.O.

It's a top 5 team on the road and they are hitting over 60% of their threes.  What did you all expect?
I am truly curious...what did you HONESTLY expect?

My lord, I feel sorry for your sons and daughters because I clearly see you expect perfection everyday in everyway.

MU needs to drive the hoop and stop chucking 3's.

This is pretty much reminiscient of the Duke game...just teasing us enough to think we have a chance, but the odds are stacked...that said..a pretty good effort thus far being on the road at a place where Pitt has won I think 48 of their last 50...and it takes Pitt shooting 60% from three to do so..

I agree- back to back contested 3's by Crowder and Buycks were dissappointing-  let's keep the comeback going!

What to expect?

How about a coach who can teach even remotely adequate defense?

But I suppose that's too much to ask.  As long as Buzz can give those quips in that southern drawl, actual coaching doesn't matter.

He has been conveniently absent since we have been winning.

I've posted on Jan 1, 4 and 5.

But nice try.

Buzz cannot teach defense.  He did a pathetic job at NO and is doing a pathetic job at MU.  No team is worse at defensive rotations.

Hahahaha...

Come now, that's not fair :)  I don't think I will have MU lose in the prediction contest this year no matter how much I believe they will lose.  I will just predict what that stats would need to be for MU to win, IMHO that is.

Dwight Buycks line today:

19 points on 6-11 from the field
3/5 from 3
4 reb (3 offensive)
3 assists.

you're right though, god he is horrible.  ::)

Overall, respectable game by MU, we really lost it after Crowder came out with 7:54 in the 1st half with his 2 fouls and never returned.  It was 26-24 Pitt at that point, and we ended the half down 11, but the gap was 16 seconds before.

Yes we gave up too many 3s, and rebounding started strong and faded, but you can't let yourself get in a hole against a good team like Pitt.

Still things to work on, but not a bad game by any means.  Just disappointing.

+1 - I'd say a perfect summary.

Though it was bad and sucked - I'd say it didn't suck as bad as what your life must be like.

Apparently a lot of people do because they're drilling the guy for not being around lately when apparently he has been.  Just sayin

Yes. No more Buycks will definitely solve our issues.
