PuertoRicanNightmare

Can we win this one?

Is it on television, by the way? I have a hard time believing there are a lot of better matchups at 1 p.m. Saturday than Marquette at Pittsburgh.

I can't believe you just lost us the Rutgers game by looking ahead   :D

It's on TWS32, ESPN FC, and the "Big East" network - so I'd think the usual's (SNY, MSG) would pick it up, no?

Pitt's playing in the Compass Bowl at noon, so that's nice.

MUfan12

This will be an HD broadcast as well.

I'm not usually this negative, but I don't think we have a chance to win that one.

I assumed that with our first BE game ever.   ::)
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

We haven't played a game this year that we couldn't have won with a bit more consistency. If MU doesn't let Duke get out to a hot start, if we don't play god-awful against Gonzaga, if we carry the first-half momentum into the second half against Becky, if DJO pulls up and hits a jumper instead of going to the floor against Vandy...granted, we lost those games for reasons that were mostly our own doing, but if we play as well as we did against Vandy, we should be in it at the end. Do that, and there's no reason we can't win it.

I didn't say we had a chance, just saying it was nice.

PGsHeroes32

I would think we have a good chance with the way we always play team tough, but the way they kinda took us completely out of any sort of offensive rythmn last year has me hesitant especially being on the road.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

marquette99

I would say no, but we've played great in the other 2 toughest games of the year (at vandy and duke).

boyonthedock

Mu hasn't been out of a game yet, so i definitely think theres a chance. 13% in fact, according to pomeroy. that might reach as high as 15 with a win over rutgers
