The REAL Marquette Housewives
« on: January 01, 2011, 12:35:08 PM »
I swear to God, this is what this board is devolving into.   More crappin and moanin after a win than I previously thought possible.    If we win a game 100 -0 this year, somebody will be kvetching it wasn't 102.    Bunch of freakin whiny drama queens.

This can definitely be true.

Plenty of good things going on today.   The boys are young, I like Buzz's defensive philosophy better this game.

Buzz has overachieved in BE play to date, hopefully he can continue that.

Tower, seriously, what do you want?  People to do a circle jerk or something?  People are mostly positive and saying they played well, perhaps their best or second best game of the year.  They're also saying there are things to work on.  Is that bitching and moanin or is that truthful commentary?

Let me ask you, do you think Buzz when he reviews film with the team will ignore the areas that need to be worked on or just same we won, great game, you have nothing to work on?

I dont agree, if u want to only read the good things then just go read Rosiaks article on the game and be done with it. The board is for opinions, criticisms, and yes praise too.

Things aren't all flowers and gumdrops, but they certainly aren't pure doom and gloom either. This is a Marquette Basketball board where people share their opinions and observations. People are entitled to discuss the areas that the team is strong in as well as ones that can be improved. If you think that there are only going to be 100% happy posts you have obviously never visited any sports message board in your life.

Bingo.

I think the Coach may have something to say about giving up an 11 point lead, letting your opponent hit 3s at a 47% clip .. FGs at a 48% pace .. let 4 opponents get to double digits .. etc.

They celebrated the win until midnight.  Then they got to work on all the possessions they failed on.
