As much maligned Big East football has been this year, they are holding their own okay in the bowl season.  I am not saying this proves the Big East was good this year, just not as bad as everyone said it was...

South Florida (who was only 3-4 in Big East) defeated Clemson
Louisville (who was only 3-4 in Big East) beat Southern Miss
Admitteldy West Virginia looked poor against N.C. State (lost 23-7)
Syracuse beat Kansas State

Remaining games are UConn vs. Oklahoma and Pitt-Kentucky.  One would think the Big East would win one of those games which would mean a 4-2 bowl record.

It'll be interesting to see how overmatched UConn is versus Oklahoma.  Vegas has Oklahoma -17.

GGGG

The BE has only one chance to beat a rated team in a bowl...and I really doubt they will.  The conference is just awful in football this year.

I'm enjoying the absolute beat down the Big Ten is taking today...monumental crushings everywhere.  Hopefully it continues in the Rose Bowl today.

Yowza.  Is there any question how much better the SEC is than the Big Ten?  Good day and good night.

Since MU won, the key to my day being complete is seeing Wiscy get rolled.

I enjoy Wisco football as well since my sister went there / has season ticks and we have no team.  That being the case I have convinced myself that since TCU is coming to the BE that this somehow effects MU and the keeping of the basketball conf together.... So therefore go TCU.
