One key to an MU win:  Not driving the lane for a horrible scoop shot (which gets blocked; always resulting in a turnover) without getting to the line.  Height is an issue, turnovers are an issue.  At least get the foul when we drive unsuccessfully.

I do believe that NC State was missing one of their top players too.

NC State was missing one of their top players for the Syracuse game, not the Wisconsin game.

In terms of Tower's comments that UW has done "piddly" away from home, they lost at UNLV (ranked) by 1 in their gym and lost to a ranked ND team in which UW had a double digit lead late in the second half.

By no means am I saying UW is some kind of juggernaut, I'm just puzzled at the comments that make this game such a lock for some of you.

Not sure about the Syracuse game.  But I remember reading that nc state was indeed missing thier best player against UW.

DJO and Gardner benefit from slower paced game.  They will be the keys in the victory.

Wrong. Tracy Smith missed the Badger game, too.

Correct.  Tracy Smith is also NC State's best interior player by far as well.  Wolfpack really missed him against Bucky.

I stand corrected.  Strange that they missed him against Bucky but not against Syracuse?

Grasping for reasons? How about this one, the badgers aren't that good away from the Kohl Center...

Not sure we are that great in non-conference road games either, and I do not consider UWM a road game by ant strecth.

Which is why playing at home is a significant advantage for MU.

I hate to be a downer but I have a very bad feeling about this game.  I think we miss a lot of shots and UW limits us to one and done.  Then on offense UW kills us on the glass getting many put backs.  I think UW leads by 10 most of the game and we close it to a loss by 5 or 6 at the end. :'(

Take MU and the under.  More depth, more offensive weapons, more athleticism.  Home court.

UNLV making Louisville look bad at Louisville in the first half.  Not a good sign.

So is Louisville winning by 8 a good sign?

At least he's going to the hoop now, that's a good start.  But it would certainly be good for someone to knock down some threes and open this thing up...

I think some of the chatter here about how poor Wisconsin is and how wonderful we are can stop.  We may pull this out, but we have a long way to go still to become a team worth reckoning.

Ummm, Mu looks terrible but UW doesn't exactly look like world beaters. If Mu had any sort of three point shooting ability at all....

Let me know when we have get that 3 point shooting...we don't have any.  Nothing consistent all year long.
