Moderators, can this feature please be removed from the site? It's a complete and utter annoyance and waste of time. Just because someone else said something doesn't mean the post I was making becomes irrelevant. Especially in gameday threads, there were times when I tried to post the same thing three or four times in a row and I kept getting that same damn red text. I've never seen this on another message board, and it's really the biggest annoyance by far on this site. Please, I beg of you, disable this useless and utterly aggravating feature. It sucks almost as hard as Duke does!

The text let's you know another post is being submitted. It doesn't preclude you from making the post. Just ignore it and submit.

Do it yourself:

Profile > Look & Layout Pref > Don't warn on new replies made while posting.

Changed it, but still don't even like its existence. Been here a good 6-7 months and had no idea it was in the options, largely because as a post deterrent it simply isn't used on other sites. Would be better if it either didn't exist or only existed as an option you had to turn on, not off.

This isn't true.  It's an option that has been widely used in forums across the Internet for years.

Looking through your profile options is usually a good idea when you register someplace new.  Next time instead of something silly like this is could be a checkbox saying "I allow the forum admins to sell my personal information to whomever they wish."

This is the worst spam account of all time.  I think they forgot to post a link in their signature?
