Dry White Toast

Nice interview.  Here is what I recall from the drive.  Overall a very nice representation of our guys and the University

Started as a normal, out of market interview that they were doing to pimp the CBE Classic
Ended with Buz cracking jokes and the radio guys laughing and talking about what a good guy he is and how they would love if he were a Big 12 coach so they could talk with him more frequently
Radio guys asked about:
JFB - Buzz said he's a great person
Ox - they had word that he was up to 325 at one time.  Buzz said he's not sure how tall he is b/c he is so wide it is distracting.  Also talked about how hard he's worked to get his weight right.  #492 in the recruiting rankings, but he'll prove to be much better than that.
DJO - hard work and defense.
They had seen one of the Marquette Revealed episodes on ESPNU.  (I didn't know they had picked up the series).  It was the one in Boot Camp where the guys are running lines and Buzz tells JFB to put them in 9 groups.  Radio guys were impressed and interested in how he made them think while they were tired and thought the series was cool.
Buzz said he talks to Frank Martin (K-State coach) frequently.  As they were wrapping the interview, Buzz said the radio guys need to tell Frank that he can't wear a vest on Tuesday.  Buzz is wearing a vest on Tuesday, and he doesn't want them to clash.
Looking forward to getting some real BBQ in KC.  Milwaukee thinks they know how to do BBQ...but they don't (Buzz's words, not mine...though I agree).
Look here for a podcast later.

They better podcast this. 810 can be so freaking random with their podcast selections. It'll be under the Border Patrol section by the way.

KC BBQ is good... Buzz needs to get over to Speed Queen asap.

Pretty funny....at about the 16:25 mark they try to end the interview but Buzz keeps talking for another two minutes about his tailor who lives in KC.  Then the hosts talk for another two minutes about the tailor and boot camp.

Great podcast.  Love to hear Buzz in another market.

Attention Milwaukee BBQ providers .. Bubb's .. Saz's .. Buzz called you out.  "People in Milwaukee occasionally think they have good BBQ.  They are wrong."

Speed Queen is where you need to go for good BBQ in Milwaukee. The place is awesome.

Milwaukee Barbecue is better than say...California barbecue, but I mean come on people this is Kansas F'ing City we're talking about.

They can't play baseball or basketball and are just learning how to play football again. BBQ is what they do well all year round.
