Based on only the first 2 games, I'm changing my approach to the final available schollie. Now, with Ox, Otule, and Crowder, I'm figuring the Warriors need a capable 3-point shooter. Don't care if he's also a dribble guy or wing, just some warm body who can fill it up.

Is Christopherson available?   ;D     If a 7' project is available, I think I still take him over a zone-breaker.    The one thing about Bo I admire is ability to develop his bigs over time so they can contribute as upperclassmen.    i.e. redshirting Anderson.    Taking the equivalent of an Mbao now and being able to redshirt him would be awesome.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

I think DWil is supposed to be a pretty good shooter.  Not sure about Anderson.

Jamail Jones I think is supposed to be a good shooter. I think Jamil Wilson has a decent 3 point shot. I don't think he's going to be taking many, but there is always that option.

Yup...would love someone to be able to spot up and break up a zone, etc.

Teams are going to zone us like crazy down the road...that's a worry.  Christopherson would have been great in that role, but I'd take anyone that can spot up and stroke it.

Best player available, simple as that.  Butler, DJO, Gardner, and to some extent Crowder came out of nowhere in the spring; I'll hope Buzz can find another solid player like them, worry about where to play him after he gets on campus.  If he doesn't happen to be a good three point shooter and that's what we need it should be a message to Cadougan, Smith, Blue, DJO, Jones, Anderson, Singleton, and the Wilsons that there's a way to earn more PT through all that depth if you can knock down some shots.

A player can learn to shoot. A player can't learn to be tall or fast or uber-athletic. Watch the McD's AA game, not a lot of great shooters but a ton of great athletes who can be taught to shoot the ball.

Who has Christopherson scholarship? Butler? DJO? Buycks? You're right, we'd be much better off with Christofferson. LOL

What about the German kid, Breunig? Not sure if he can shoot, and maybe it's stereotypical, but it seems most of the European swing-type players can shoot the longball. And at 6'9", he would at least provide some size in the frontcourt.

I still would like God's Gift, though. Ox, Crowder, and Otule may all be decent, but we're a lot deeper at the 1-3 than we are at the 4 and 5.
