Vander right outside the lottery at #16 overall.

DJO in the second round at #36 overall.

Let's hope we can go far with that NBA talent in the next two years.

If Vander's picked that high already I guess I shall be booking my Final Four tickets sometime this week

Wow. If DJO and Vander both end up getting into the NBA (Jimmy has a shot at it too) imagine the recruits Buzz could lock up by proving that Marquette will get you to the next level.

WAAAAAAY to early for Vander.

DJO's a lock in the second.

DJO will be drafted this year.

While I hope that's an option for him I really hope that he sticks around for his senior season.

No.  Underclassmen 6'2" shooting guards aren't guarantee 1st round locks for the NBA draft.

Not sure that it's WAAAAAAY too early for Vander, but it's definitely WAAAAAAY too late for Quincy Miller. I don't think there's any chance he'll be in the 2012 draft, he'll already have a year of NBA under his belt by that time.

Quincy Miller will need to play one season after high school (2011-12) to be eligible for the NBA draft.

The 2012 draft will be just after Quincy Miller's freshman year.

I refuse to trust any website that doesn't have Jeronne Maymon as a top 5 selection

D'oh...getting ahead of myself. I guess as you age, all those years just tend to blend together :D

I can believe ALOT more in the probability that DJO would be the 1st round pick - 16 in the 2012 draft, and Vander the 6th overall pick in the 2nd round.  In other words, just flip their projections.

While I have not seen Vander play a lot beyond watching the FIBA championships, MM Scrimmage, and the St. John's exhibition - the only "elite" talent that I see at this point is his defensive ability.  He certainly has all the tools from an athleticism standpoint, and from the mentality/coachability standpoint - BUT - I do think his jumper/offensive game need a lot of work to be the 16th overall pick in the draft after just 2 years at MU...
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."
