He was giving Digger a hard time, and then, after the timeout gone.  Could they have held it at the AL?

Those were the Zooperstars.  I've seen them perform before at halftime of a couple of men's and women's games.   They all appeared on the open of Gameday since they were performing about 20 minutes before ESPN went live, and then disappeared for the rest of the broadcast.  The only thing they could have done better was bring in the racing sausages.

I was at the game and told people around me that it was THE dumbest thing I ever saw at a MU game.  But I also said "I love it"  crazy, zanny and nutso   Just what college BB is all about!

I suspected they were bothering Digger, especially when one was practically touching him.  Frankly, I thought they were just plain stupid and they detracted from the students, cheerleaders, etc.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. I think it was "Stallion Iverson" that was licking him just before they left.

Zooperstars???  Puh-lease!  I tune into Gameday to see MU's school spirit on display for the entire country and all I notice are the dopey inflatable characters hogging the screen.  What does this have to do with Marquette?  Please, never again!

I agree. The only thing more more ridiculous on an otherwise glorious day was our mascot.
