Winthrop probably gets in even if they lose (though their RPI is not that great, but they are 27-4 with their losses to North Carolina, Wisconsin (OT), Maryland, and Texas A&M...they're up 1 on 14-18 VMI right now late in the second half for the right to go to the tournament.

I'm sure a lot of bubble teams right now aren't too thrilled with this.  Winthrop should be winning this game by more then they are having clocked VMI both other times they played them.

A lot of "experts" believe they are in whether they win or not.  With a RPI 0f 69, if I were Winthrop I would get it together just in case...plus a lot of bubble teams will be a bit happier.
