Golden Eagles Eighth in 2010-11 BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll

The Marquette University men's basketball team was picked to finish eighth, tied with Louisville, in the 2010-11 BIG EAST Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced by the league Wednesday morning. Marquette senior forward Jimmy Butler was tabbed as a Preseason All-BIG EAST Second Team member, while junior teammate Darius Johnson-Odom was named as an honorable mention selection.

i like that when they pick us at 10th, 8th, whatever...i don't think anyone really knows what we have here, but us warriors do have faith in buzz and with that i think we collectively believe we've got a pretty good thing going here and each game will be well played and competitive and exciting.  buzz truely gets everything from his players and it's more  fun coming in with minimal expectations, winning some big games and forcing the prognosticators talk us up.  look out for our warriors
