Not sure how strong MU's interest is, given some of the other schools involved, but it's out there:

http://www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/michaelorris.html

Class of 2012 Crete-Monee star Michael Orris is gearing up for a strong junior year on the hardwood after seeing his recruiting stock soar over the course of the past year. Orris ranks as one of the top Class of 2012 basketball prospects in the state of Illinois.

Orris, a 6'3 point guard, is the consumate floor leader, and is very effective in using his size, length and high basketball I.Q. to create scoring opportunities for his teammates. Orris is a pure point guard, with a strong mid-range game who has the ability to defend against bigger and smaller foes alike.

Orris is not only a star on the basketball court, but also in the classroom where he sports a 3.6 grade point average. Orris has a long line of schools already active in his recruitment including Drake, UIC, Creighton, Indiana State, St. Louis, Loyola, Nevada and Marquette.

Interesting that in this story, he's listed as being just 6'. Must have grown a bunch the past few months.

Edit: Bullseye story about Orris from December ...
