MU Games Online
« on: October 07, 2010, 10:32:03 PM »
I'm likely going to be traveling for work quite a bit this winter so I was wondering if any or all of the MU games can be viewed online.  I know that some of them are on ESPN360, but that's not available with all cable providers (at least I don't believe it is). The MU website only broadcasts a select few, doesn't it? Anyway, if anyone has any info I'd appreciate it.

Sorry, this topic has probably come up before but it never mattered to me before so I didn't read the threads.

Thanks!

Try www.atdhe.net.  It's not great quality, but I know last year some friends and I caught a few games on there when they weren't televised on any station we could get in Milwaukee.

Typically someone's garbage man's daughter's cousin who knows a guy in Canada who was a stockbroker for a guy, knows a guy who knows a URL where the game might be streaming.

Only for non-BE games, though, where the games aren't carried on ESPN.

justin.tv usually has the Big East games. I remember watching the WVU and 'Nova games on there. It streams pretty well but the actual video quality is sometimes suspect.

I dropped cable in July.  I asked myself the same question... here's what I found:

All ESPN FullCourt games will be shown on ESPN3.com this year.  If you aren't a subscriber of a "preferred" ISP (cable system doesn't matter... it's who provides your high-speed internet that does), I believe access to ESPN3 can be purchased for a monthly fee.  Otherwise, if you have a friend or family member who is a subscriber, you can always convince them to share their remote login info because ESPN3 is available to subscribers even when they're away from home.

Some, not all, college games on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU are also simulcast on ESPN3.  If not, they are usually put up on tape delay.

I have also had recent success with myp2p.eu for any games that I can't stream online or get over the air.  I haven't missed a single game I wanted to watch yet.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

I don't believe that is accurate.  Your ISP must be a partner.

You can't individually purchase access to ESPN3 content (unless you consider changing ISPs as such).  You must either belong to one of the subscribing ISPs or set up an account on ESPN which is associated with one of the affiliated ISPs (so if your ISP at home gets ESPN3, you could connect on the road under a different ISP, for example).

Sounds like it'll still be a bit before Time Warner customers have ESPN3: http://www.9wsyr.com/content/news/your_stories/story/Time-Warner-working-on-ESPN3-details/Ad3BHMDg0UuHrBTdtI51QQ.cspx

As I said, I "believed" you could get paid access... this wasn't confirmed and I apologize if I represented otherwise.  A buddy of mine told me he was paying $24.99/mo for ESPN3 because he has Time Warner.  He just clarified - he isn't paying for ESPN3, he's paying $24.99 to another ISP who is a partner for duplicated service that he doesn't use (apparently, he has some introductory package deal with TW where it doesn't save him any money to split-off his internet).  So basically, he's double-paying for internet service, uses only his existing TW internet, and considers the $24.99/mo. the "cost" of ESPN3.

In any event, all ESPN+/FC games will be on ESPN3 this year... that's what's important.

The part about paying for ESPN3 monthly or separately, for that matter.

Didn't we have enough of this type of controversy with the naming and then un-naming of the dean in the College of Arts and Science?

In fact, my garbage man's daughter's cousin knows a guy in Canada who was a stockbroker for a guy who knows a guy who also knows of the website:

atdhe.net

The guy that my garbage man's daughter's cousin knows in Canada who was a stockbroker for a guy who knows a guy has been watching everything, from NFL RedZone to live UFC pay-per-view events.

http://www.myp2pforum.eu/

P2P forum has forums for every sport.  In each sport's forums there are stickied topics for games that are that day/week.  There are links after those games.  They're sometimes links to web streaming and they're sometimes links to streaming torrents.  I've been able to watch every game from every sport (no matter how out there) that I've wanted to becasue of this site.  It's much more exhaustive than the atdhe list ever is.

Thanks, guys. Looks like there's some good info on here.

BTW, Jay-Z messed up his own lyric in his signature. It's Jeezy who pays LeBron, not Jesus.
