It is harder to prove the improper benefits that you listed than it is if a coach makes too many calls/text messages.

Hey, all coaches cheat. This episode not withstanding, I know Bruce on a different level. My opinion of him hasn't wavered. BTW, if UT wants to get rid of him, AD's will be standing in line and throwing $$$ at his heine to coach at their school.

SOME AD's will, but not everyone.  He just eliminated himself from a lot of jobs.  All I'll say is this is only part of the story and there's more to it than this and has been for a decade at various schools.

He is a funny as crap guy, but so was Huggins, etc.  Lots of funny, likable guys in the coaching profession that we would all love to hang out with.  Doesn't mean we want them putting our school on probation. 

The only way some of this crap is going to stop is if the NCAA punishes these coaches....suspends them for a year or longer.  Otherwise the cheating will continue.  The NCAA could severely level the playing field if they wanted to on this stuff, but no one has the balls to do it.

And this is just Tennessee's self imposed punishment....the NCAA is sure to follow with more, they've proven in the past that they don't like being lied to.....now if they would just head down the road to Lexington.....

Typically, a lack of professional ethics bleeds into the personal life.

That said, since you and Pearl have been boys for years now it speaks to all we need to know about the company kept in this group.

Like the squid in Lexington, it's only a matter of time until Pearl's shtick stops being funny for one investigator to end it.
