Just curious what everyone's doing for Gameday.  Here's my plan for Sat...

- Wake up in time to leave my house at the ungodly hour of 4:30am
- Fly out of DEN at 7:10am
- Arrive ORD at 10:35am (or more likely, 1 hour late)
- Meet Spiral at ORD, get the rental car and drive up to Milwaukee
- Park car in Milwaukee, and commence drinking
- Drink
- Drink
- Drink
- Realize that I should have some food since I've already had 4 drinks, it's ~1pm and I've been up without food since ~4am
- Eat & Drink
- Find a way to pass the time until about 7pm (hmmm...drinking?  And watching the plethora of good Saturday games at a sports bar?)
- Make my way to the BC around 7pm
- Scream from approx 8pm-10pm, while watching Marquette dismantle Pitt
- Leave BC knowing we swept and Pitt for the year, and commence in an activity that starts with a D

I'm sure I've left out some details, and the festivities will probably continue until early Sunday morning regardless (and involve stumbling back to the hotel)

So...what's your plan?

spiral97

oh crap.. we DID book early flights.. ah well.. it'll be worth it  ;D
Once a warrior always a warrior.. even if the feathers must now come with a beak.

Final Four or Bust

Mine will be somewhat similar. .

-Wake up at 4:30 am
-Fly out of DCA at 6:35 am
-Arrive in MKE at 7:45 am
-Breakfast

. . . and then it will be very similar to your list above.

Djgoldnboy

I'm coming from my folks house, so only 1/2 drive.

7-8 Drive to BC, mix up some Mimosa's, sneak them into BC.
8-11 Gameday Baby!!!
11-5 A mixture of Goolsby's, Murph's, Real Chili, perhaps some Pizza Shuttle.
5-7 Bunker down back at Goolsby's or Turners or Buck Bradleys
8-10 Game
after 10 it's anything goes.

I live in Chicago and am bringing my girlfriend with me to Milwaukee around 1.  We'll check into the hotel and then I'll show her MU campus.  We'll eat at Turners (do I need reservations) and then head to the game around 7.  Drinking throughout should have a great time as MU extends their lead in the second half so that each of the seniors enjoy garbage time for the last 5-7 minutes.  Then I'll shed some tears recalling the glory days of Kinsella, Lott, and Kuphall and then hit several bars, last one being Bryants.

MU10

Leave the dorm at 1:30 AM to get in line at the BC by 2 for Gameday.  Go nuts at Gameday until noon, then meet my family at the bus station at 2:30, watch a little bball at some restaurant and then head back to the BC around 5.

Buzz Williams' Spillproof Chiclets Cup

Wake up at 6:00AM since the gf has Praxis Tests on Saturday morning.
Haven't decided if I'm gonna take her down there and then go to gameday or just fall back asleep and head down whenever I feel like it.
Gameday
Meet the gf after gameday/tests
Meet the boys at the bar. Commence drinking.
Watch MU beat Pitt
Wipe away the tear in my eye as I reflect on the glorious MU careers of Mike Kinsella and Jamil Lott....oh yea, and Craig Kuphall.

Rocky -- what the he!! you are not planning on drinking in between screams while at the game??

SoCalstu09

Leave campus around 3 am, get to the BC by 3:15. Get in line, fall asleep, drink from my thermus. Gameday at 8! 12 pm gameday ends, leave the BC to get back in line by about 12:01 pm to get our seats for the game.

BC will be a second home on Saturday.

Dish

Here's mine:

-Wake up around 9:55 am
-Turn on GameDay on my tv
-Eat lunch (Pizza Hut leftovers?)
-Sit on my couch all day watching sports and various MTV reality show re-runs
-Take break from sitting on my couch
-While on break, maybe eat a Hostess Cupcake?
-Sit on my couch some more/possible nap
-Eat dinner (force the wife to go out and get some take out)
-Inform wife and dogs not to bother me for next two hours
-Watch MU/Pitt on my couch (I have HD going for me...which is nice)

Since my house unfortunately is not giving out MU 1977 NCAA t-shirts to the first 5 people that enter, I will honor them by wearing the Marquette t-shirt I bought at the Golden Eagle on April 22nd, 1997, celebrating the proud accomplishments of Abel Joseph and John Cliff.

Got a nice little Saturday planned:

9am:  Wake up hungover from Friday, drink some Haterade.
Noon:  Finally start feeling like being alive.
2pm-7pm(ish):  Bar crawl including such classy stops as Lakefront Tour, Club Brady and Wolski's.
8pm-10pm:  Trying not to get kicked out of my friend's season ticket seats while watching MU destroy Pitt. (I guess if him and I have made it this far, we should be alright)
10pm-Bar Time:  Scream at anyone in Milwaukee not wearing a light blue t-shirt

Depends.  I found that drinking and clapping/waving arms/high fives don't work well.  So unless I bring a Beerbelly to drink from it could get messy.  Half time is a good time to slam one or two though.

Good point, but I think it starts at 8pm.  Anyone at the BC not wearing theirs should be berated.
