The bigger question is not whether Blackmon sticks with his verbal and matriculates to IU in 4 years but if Crean is still the head coach that greets him (this would be Crean's 7th season at IU).

I'll bet that Crean is not at IU in 4 years.

I'll take that bet.  Rocky is going to owe me for his bet next year and I'll gladly take the 4 year bet on Crean.  What are the stakes...how much can you afford to lose?   ;)

Incidentally, the number of freshmen that verbal and don't attend that school has to be at least 75%.  I doubt very much this kid sticks to that commitment.  14 years old is no time to be making that serious of a decision.

I'm with you 84.

I've mentioned before that Crean was not only a great hire for IU but a tactical one: he was hired to put a face of change on IU basketball and then, thank you very much...out the door.

If you were surprised by Tokoto's drop, wait till this kid fades into obscurity.

Chicos what are you basing your confidence on?  Reason or passion?

GGGG

I live in Indiana, and if TC has two more years like his last two, he will be gone.  However, I don't think they'll be as bad and show enough to keep him around.

If crean can duplicate his nine years at marquette they should be ecstatic down there. The hope was that the bigger name would help him recruit but has not happened.  I think the Iu faithful have more reasonable expectations now. I think some expected Phil jackson.

What self respecint coach offers a freshman the first week of school?  Answer: none.  Tim Floyd and Tom Crean.  There are two peas in a pod.  The boozer and the louser as they sayl.  Crean will be selling shoes for Nike in three years.  You heard it here first.
In heaven Marquette always beats Wisconsin

Oh man.  Now you're gonna have a certain West Coast cable guy all over this thread.  This will become a 7 page diatribe.

What is Tom Crean's expertise with lice?
