I was already to crap all over this hat, but for $5 not a bad hat at all!

Blackhat

Just ordered one.   With "ship to store" there is no shipping cost.   Thanks for the heads up.

No Sale-The back of the hat has "Golden Eagle" on it.

It says "Golden Eagles" on the back of the hat in the pic.  Are you referring to something else?

Edit: It's listed at $20 now and there are only smalls left, so I suppose this isn't really worth discussing further.

I stopped in the store yesterday to take a look at it...came away unimpressed. Hat is made of a thin material that feels very cheap. Also, you can't see it in the picture, but there are light checkered lines all around the hat.

Even for $5 I didn't want it.

Blackhat

always need a hat for when painting or something like that.

That's "ripstop" fabric.  I saw that in the description.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

john_cocktoasten

Do you get a free bowl of soup with that hat.

Damn, for 5 bucks would make an appropriate XMas present to a former MU head coach, crap and all.

Picked up the hat.   Not that bad, it looks pretty good on me.

Material is cheap and it may frill but it looks solid.

I make a lot of things look good though.

You old farts and ugly guys may not be able to pull it off.

I don't know about anyone else, but I generally grasp the bill with one hand or the other, lift it smartly, until the cap part is a short distance from my head, and bring my hand/cap down to my side or toss it on the kitchen counter or hang it on a hat rack or leave it in my pickup. You?

It's a tight squeeze but it eventually comes off.
