When the BE was realigned, the prevailing thought was that it would be too tough due to the depth.  We are feeling that right now.  No shame in losing to G-Town and ND did play very well.  We sucked at DePaul and lost on a last second shot to L-ville which I think has become a pretty good team.
So my perspective on this is that this conference has exposed our flaws which are considerable but if the team is able to keep its confidence, we could be OK.  If we can win the first game in the tourney, we would be very capable of pulling an upset in round 2.  What we need to do is win a few games to increase our confidence and get a better seed so that first game is a better matchup for us.
