I don't know why you are "LOL-ing."  Joe Wolf was the best prep basketball player to come out of the state of Wisconsin and it really isn't close.  As for the most successful NBA player to come out of Wisconsin, it would be Downtown Freddie Brown.

Sultan, I agree, and was mistaken in that I didn't consider PREP when posting. ?-(

Devin Harris has the potential to be the best ever out of Wisconsin.  He was an all star.

Not even close:  Jeronne Maymon.  Just ask his old man.

Maybe not the best player, but certainly the best TWO GUARD.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Holy smoke!  Do I ever remember having my first recruit crush on Robert Berryhill.  No college is mentioned.  Did grades keep him from playing college ball anywhere?

I hope when this post is revisited in five years we will all agree the Vander Blue is the best to come out of Wisky!

I think he committed to UW but I don't think he lasted four years.

well, coaching and playing him out of position kind of ruined his game...,
remember, he didn't play any D in high school, and became our best defender.  He covered the best the opponents brought.  Further, he played his senior year w/ a seperated shoulder!  Still might have been our mvp.  ...just sayin'..,

Love the Sprewell references.  A couple of hours ago I was sitting with PJ Carlesimo (great guy) at our grade school's talent show.  Can't think of one without the other.

Pieper was fine at MU.  He lit it up in HS because he was playing in Wausaukee.

they took the #1 team in the state, King, to the final minute that season.
