Even saying that is hopeful thinking.

I realize this is a highlight video, but JP is one of the smoothest high school sophomores I've seen in a long, long time.

Wow, I'm amazed at how easily he was able to finish with his left hand. It looked pretty natural for him. I was just wondering what kind of jump shot he has. I saw a few in there, but he is just so much more athletically gifted than people, that he can just get to the basket at will and doesn't need a jump shot really. The scary thing is that he is just finishing up his sophomore year. He seems to have all the physical tools and the interviews I've read from him, it makes it sound like he's got a real good head on his shoulders and his parents make sure of that.

It'd be a huge get if he would come to MU.

StillAWarrior

Oh, please, please, please!

Is it too much to ask that Roy Williams (and every other high major coach who obviously will be offering) will somehow unintentionally offend JP?  Wow, that kid looks smooth.  I particularly liked the one where he blocked the same shot twice (0:41, or so).
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

I'll agree to disagree here.

Lol, I don't think being listed first means a thing. It's still two years until he graduates, a long time to go. I saw him play at the Al this year and was very impressed, for only being a Sophomore he had a few Lebron-like blocks and dunks, alley oops. But he is a HORRIBLE shooter. I think he missed every free throw he shot, even air balling one. He needs to get his shot down, then he will be a solid recruit.

Anyways, with offers from UNC, Kansas and Duke... I hate to say it but I don't think we will see him in blue & gold... we can always dream however.

Hell, If it means he thinks of us before Buckytown, I'm happy.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

We gotta get up on those corners.

McNulty: I got to ask you. If every time Snotboogie would grab the money and run away, why'd you even let him in the game?

Witness: What?

McNulty: If Snotboogie always stole the money, why'd you let him play?

Witness: You got to, this is America, man

YES!!! Somebody's been watching season 1 of The Wire!

Benny B

I'm intrigued by this show, The Wire, you mention.  I've never subscribed to premium channels, and live under a rock when it comes to TV shows, so this is the first I've heard of it.

A quick googlee says it's an HBO series, but no longer in production.  If I don't want to spring for the DVDs, can it be streamed on the web somewhere or is it an iTunes the only option in cyberspace?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
