And I was mocked when I suggested that Dieng might push Samuels to the NBA!

Actually, this is somewhat old news, Michael "reopening", but not "decommitting" ("because that makes it sounds like a bad thing" - Chandler), at least a week before Dieng committed to Louisville.

Chandler who averaged 14.5 points and 7.7 rebounds as a junior is 220 pounds and hails from Indy's Lawrence North HS, and is ranked #10 by Rivals in the 2011 class.  A teammate of Chandler's also in the 2011 class, Ryan Taylor, has committed to Louisville, and Louisville freshman, Stephan Van Treese was from Lawrence North, as well.

At least one Louisville commentator isn't thinking that Chandler is just jerking around.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

He has a 1.6 GPA and will have to go to Prep and even then he might not qualify.

So why does he decommit when he has the opportunity to be a part of a great tradition?

Lorenzo Wade, Justin Coleman, Michael Chandler...    It's a natural fit.

Justin Coleman and Gorgui Dieng should be ours! Coleman will be eligible you make sure of that. He only needs 3 credits over the summer which is easily doable when your at Prep and committed to an elite program, ah college bball!

Jeeez, to listen to you, one would think that a NCAA rule change on the eligibility of foreign players the day before Enes Kanter signs with Kentucky was not a mere coincidence.

The people on the Louisville board were saying it might not be super easy. Granted they still think that he will be eligible. They think that by 3 credits, it is not like 3 credit hours, but 3 core classes he has to take. So he would have to take and pass 3 classes this summer. That's how my high school worked at least, 1 credit per class. Maybe you know that and I'm just preaching to the choir, but I know before I read it on their board, I was thinking 3 credit hours aka one class.
