Once we began to recruit Dieng, it was inevitable that his stock would rise.  ;)
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Luke Cothron is number 45, so we are still in the hunt.

Holy Sh*t!  Enes Kanter all the way up to number 3?  I guess that getting a scholarship from Kentucky must now guarantee that a player will be an NBA lottery pick the next year.

The good news here, I guess  is that we may still be in the running for next year's number 1 recruit since that guy might not have even come to the US yet.  Both Kanter and Dieng arrived in the US in the fall, I think.  (Dieng not even until October 30)!

I wonder if and where Jae Crowder would fall in there if they were to include top 150 signees/players

I think Hoopscoop has him between #41-#70.  Don't quote me on that (little help bma725?).  Top 100 for sure.

Either way, he's got talent.  You don't win JUCO POY if you don't.  Plus, Buzz recruited him.  Any JUCO player Buzz recruits (no matter how obscure) should get the benefit of the doubt until he whiffs on one.

Dieng at #44

Seeing him in a Louisville uni the next four years is only going to make this sting harder.

Dieng has been in the US for 6 months and has risen that high, give him another 2/3 months and he will be a top 20 player. This kids potential is unbelievable, we missed on this one.

So are about 10 other teams and his interest in us is listed as low.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Bad news from the admissions department, I suspect.

Or he could be playing as well as possible right now and time will eventually catch up which could result in his performances flatlining.

Pitino does well getting hyped recruits in his stable. Sometimes, that hype doesn't equate to talent.

Gotta assume Gardner is having issues qualifying.

Or is having issues with a school wanting him.

Where oh where is that mystery big that we were promised?

It is flat out amazing to me when going thru that list how many of those kids heavily, considered MU, listed Mu as a leader or were on the Mu campus over the last year.  Probably 30-40 of them.  Buzz is a flat out recruitng stud.  When is the last time Mu recruited two top 55 players in a rivals list.  after the last two classes and this past season i fully expect Buzz to sign another very solid class.  Mu is going to be really really loaded with talent. Being a great coach in collge BBall is 90% recruiting.
