Bedlam...

Watching the K-State/Kansas game - that's what I would call bedlam. The K-State students and fans are one rowdy and unruly bunch. They came ready for this game. The place is nuts. How's Cincinatti doing this year?

ESPN said K-State held a pep rally for students in the arena two hours prior to game time. It worked, apparently, but I don't see that being common. I would think that would lead to more lost voices even before tip-off than it would extra crazy fans.

i have to say that with the past two games, i was very pleased with the crowd support, especially the Louisville game.  I can remember about 4 or 5 possessions in a row where the whole lower bowl was on their feet and loud.  it was the first time in a long time the i saw that much unanimous support for the Marquette team.  crean isn't blowing smoke when he says this team needs us.  the more support we show them, the more they feed off of it.  Great job fans and i can't wait to see how rowdy we are for March 3rd

Watching both games from TV, I thought the crowd last night seemed livelier than they did against L-ville.  Maybe it was the overall production of Saturdays game, but the crowd didn't seem as much energy as it should and I didn't think that was a problem last night.

As far as K-state goes, they looked terrible.  Slow and couldn't make a shot if their lives depended on it.  If they get in the tourney, I'd feel good if were matched up.

I'd be ok with an K-State matchup, just so long as Huggy Bear doesn't give us the plague he had yesterday.
