It's best not to watch all the  stuff on The EntertainmentSPN. They don't know more than we do. The Warriors know how to win and we defend better and are more disciplined. They can't throw anything at us we haven't seen.

Statistically, you guys are better on offense while we are better on defense. Kenpom has you guys rated #22 on offense and #48 on defense whereas UW is rated #32 on offense and #38 on defense.

Here's a quick breakdown though, not figuring in adjustments.

Providence (Pace = 5th fastest in the country): 82.4 pf  82.2 pa
Marquette (Pace = 303rd fastest): 72.9 pf  64.2 pa
Washington: (Pace = 10th fastest): 79.8 pf  69.9 pa

Also, here's the strength of schedule for the same 3 teams

Providence: 27th
Marquette: 42nd
Washington: 55th

Well whatever turns you on. I just think their fans should be more nervous about this game than we are.

Maybe I am a homer, or perhaps an idiot, maybe both...but the more I read about UW (Washington that is) the more I think this game is not even close.  I know we tend to play down to the competition at times, but given this is the last time out for our seniors and given they know the one and done to the tourney, I think we come to play and play Big East basketball from the opening tip.  I am sorry, but UW doesn't have a chance in my opinion.

We've lost to teams that play uptempo (nova twice), but we've also beat nova and PU twice.  I'd say Washington is closer to PU than Nova in terms of talent.
