MU B2002

Evan Turner buries a shot just inside halfcourt to beat Michigan by 1.  Clutch.

Oh my god.  What a play.  I loved how calm he was, 2 huge dribbles, set and go.  What a player.

MU B2002

And no reaction from him when he made it.

Oh and what is with the prevent defense from Michigan?  How can you give a guy like Turner that much space.

Thad was a little fired up.

Thad was a little fired up.

I don't know if he has any history with Beillen (sp?) but it looked like he was looking at the Michigan bench as he was beyond fired up in their direction.

Is it the same in basketball?  While it may be a good rivalry, really?  If he was screaming at Belein, he is an idiot.  Totally classless move.  If he was yelling at the time keeper, well then, not as classless.

He was yelling at the Michigan bench for not giving Titus any one armed embraces after their last game.

So this is a reason to taunt the bench/coach?  Was just wondering if they had a history when it was WVU vs. OSU or something more recent since Beilein only has been there for two/ three years.

Maybe he was yelling at the great ref Hightower who may have waved off the 3 before reviewing it.

wow, just saw the replay. Turner just threw it up there with his hand up, as confidant as any player I've ever seen. Doesn't jump and run around, just stood there and smirked like he knows hes the best. It was kind of really really awesome.

Thad looked like an idiot

To be completely honest, I think that was earlier in the game and the editing makes it seem right after the shot. If you look when Turner hits it, Thad looks calm and relieved

Nope, saw it live and he was going nuts at the Michigan bench, to the point where a ref had to stop him, turn him around, and settle him down.

AlumKCof93

I didn't realize it was aimed at the Michigan bench, I thought he was frustrated with the refs.  Makes sense since Huggins was calling the game.  Interesting if it was aimed at the Michigan bench - regardless, not Matta's best moment.  In a situation like that, wouldn't you expect the coach to exhibit at least as much class as the player who hits the shot?

Turner is a stud.
