Does Georgetown want this game more than Marquette?

i cant even express how happy i would be to just see us get to the BE title game. That would be unreal, and almost certainly wrap up a 6 seed.

4 days ago I thought well if we beat SJU or UConn I'm not worried about a bid any more. It would nice to hang with Nova for a while, earn a little more respect. 

Now that we've reached the semi's, I know I feel exactly like the players: I want nothing less than to win it all. Why not? Why be 'happy with seeing us in the BE Final?' Sure it would be exciting but don't tell me you won't care if we lose to ND or WV again.
We can beat Gtown. We can beat ND. We can beat WV. None of those teams terrify me.

I can't wait for tonight. Let's win it all!

3 days in 3 days is tough with our style of play. Biggest concern is the impact of tired legs on shooting. I hope we don't get complacent jacking 3s without pushing the ball into the paint first. we did well punding it in to Lazar some in the 2nd half yesterday out of the spread offense. Hopefully we can do that, or at least get some layups off penetration tonight.  A high pct from 3 with tired legs is tough.

Why would i be happy with making the finals? Because winning 3 straight in this conference is great, especially against 2 ranked teams. Getting us to the finals probably gets us a 6 seed, sure we could win again and get a 5, but first and formost is the tourney next week. I would love to have a 6 seed. Of course i want to win it all but losing to WVU would be very respectable, i would be pretty damn pissed losing to ND again, i will admit that.

Sugar baby don't be so sour...want it more..no way...can anyone imagine how much Buzz and his boys want to be playing on Saturday night in the big apple for the big east title....ridiculous comment. Good thing this wasn't shared with Buzz...

Agree with previous post MU may not win, I think they will, but it wont because they wanted it less than GT.

Also agree that we have two big advantages..no match up for Lazar and Buzz will out coach GT3..in fact I am counting on that factor the most.

GT3 talent's does not perform up to it's level very often and especially when they think they are better than the other team.
