First time MU has won 2 Big East tourney games and advanced to the Big East Semi-Finals.  Pretty amazing considering the loss of the Big 3, and that they never accomplished that feat.   Hats off to this team and coaching staff.  That said, it's too bad we dont' have a coach that makes his team practice free throws...think of all this team could be if they didn't shoot 74.1%..or to put it another way if they could just shoot free throws as well as the BEST NBA team who shoots 78.5%

2007, MU beat St Johns and ND.. lost to Pitt in semis. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah we beat Seton Hall and Notre Dame in 2008 before losing to Pitt.

Last year under Crean we played in the semi-finals and also won two Big East tournament games.  We lost to Pitt.

I think they have practiced their free throws later in the season because we are the leader in the big east with free throws.
