Maymon
« on: March 11, 2010, 03:23:51 PM »
Finally someone from the mainstream
media comes out with te truth. Jerrone maymon didn't play hard enoughfor Marquette. Says he couldn't hack it. The announcer said this not in the exact words but that pretty much sums it up. Thank you.

anybody else hear the announcers mention Maymon?  I hope he was watching: they stated" I hope he plays harder for Bruce Pearl than he did her" That's what I heard

"They had some problems with Maymon [sic]."

"Yeah, I just don't think he played hard enough for this team. He's down in TN playing for Bruce Pearl now. He'll learn how to play hard, but he just didn't for Marquette"

Made me wonder if Jerrone or Tim Maymon were watching...some humble pie served.  You could tell Fraschilla was going to say more negative about JMay..and caught himself and slowed down his criticism.
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

Frachilla brought him up!  Not our fault haha!

Great to hear him absolutely rip his work ethic.

one of the announcers today was talking about how we have overcome injuries, etc. this season, and he mentioned J-May leaving the team saying "he obviously wasn't playing hard enough to be on this team"

Just thought that was amusing

I anticipate a Tim Maymon press conference to refute those allegations!

Fran clearly likes Buzz. I wouldn't be surprised if Buzz planted that seed with Fran at some point.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Did he really?  If so, I guess the Timster has a weakness toward hyperbole.

Either that, he's suffering from rectal-cranial insertion.....   ::)

Fran Fraschilla on Maymon

Did you hear Fran speak candidly about Maymon transferring?  It was around the 5:47 minute mark in the 2nd half.  He simply said that Jerronne didn't play nearly hard enough for Buzz.  He mentioned that he would end up learning how to play under Pearle, but laid all of the onus on JM.

Fran stood up in Crean's wedding so they are tight.  I believe PRN was the wedding singer at the event while 4everwarriors presided over the ceremony.

because Maymon said he'd watch every game and it's fun
« Reply #19 on: March 11, 2010, 04:47:48 PM »
There's so much pressure watching MU this year, that picking on Tim Maymon is just some fun desert.  Tim said he'd watch Marquette lose every other game, but he may have missed today watching Tennessee give LSU their 20th loss.

Come on, Tennessee stole our coach after one Sweet 16 run, Pearl hates us from the UWM days, and now he stole a state player of the year from us.  Probably did us a favor this year, but it's good to have a telecast just let everyone know he didn't work hard enough to play for Buzz.  It's important for potential recruits to know that bare fact, and not just wonder if there is something he doesn't know when Buzz comes calling.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

He (They) didn't want to be in the MU family.  They don't need to be discussed anymore.

How many people were in this jerkoffs wedding? Izzo, O'Neill, Fran Franschilla, Mark Gottfried, all the Harbaughs, Ben Sheets, LaRussa, the general from "We Were Soldiers," Gerry Boyle, Ralph Williard...am I missing anybody?

We're just commenting on what the announcers said about Maymon. No one has spoken an ill word about "them" in this post.
