It took him long enough and he also added ND to the lock list.  That is 8 Big East locks with Seton Hall in his first 4 out.

I don't know.  Their 7-11 conference record is pretty ugly.

jaygall31

would it surprise anyone if that bottom semifinal was ND vs. Cincy?
It's not about ME,
It's about US.

Very much so

Definitely. However, I actually think Cincy might have one more in them against WVU- wouldnt it be nice of huggy bear to let his former team have one?  ;) PS- i think a trip to the finals is the only way UC gets to the tournament, and even that puts them squarely on the bubble. unfortunately for them they have had a season like MU had in the early going, many close games not going their way

On the other hand, I have a hunch that ND's fun little run is over, and by over I also mean one and done in the NCAA. I know they are much better than earlier in the year, but something tells me their recent success will lead to a higher than deserving seed and something tells me they will bow out in the first round

I will be eating crow if they win the BE tourney and make it to the Elite 8, but thats ok

GuamanianTerror

Digger has them an a 5/6 seed

DCWarriors04

Digger would have them as a 5/6 seed...just another reason why he annoys me.

GuamanianTerror

How old is Digger? His daughter is married to Jamie Moyer and he is around 50. Digger has got to be in the Depends wearing bracket.

I don't need Lunardi's validation.  We were a lock before we won yesterday.

Also, his 96% (or whatever it is) in picking tournament teams is a crock.  Every year there are only a handful of teams on the bubble.  This is his sole job, the fact that he doesn't get 99% or better every year is embarrassing.

Exactly right. He should stick to his day job in marketing at St Joe's.

Digger with that stupid green tie, and he even had a green marker last night. What a clown, he interrupted the other guy on ESPN twice and got called out on it.

And then he said Georgetown can't handle the Hoyas.

They laughed at him for that one, too.

Maybe he meant that UCONN can't handle the Huskies.  He would've been on to something there, I s'pose.

Has anyone seen LaPhonso Ellis recently on ESPN?  I noticed him using the "flat out" term multiple times.  Say "no" LaPhonso... he was your coach in the eighties but no more!
