Making 3's early
« on: March 10, 2010, 03:51:36 PM »
WTH, I will post it here, too.    Making 3's early, particularly the 1 pass and shoot type, is not a good thing for this team.    They become passive in their offense, make lazy passes, and settle for 3's.    Much better when they run lots of offense early and get their beloved paint touches and preferably some inside shots.     Ah, well, take the W and move on.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Seriously, I couldn't agree more.  As soon as we start draining 3's early, I'm getting scared, because you can only stay hot so long; the percentage will eventually even out.  Once we start hittin' them, we look for them more instead of paint touches and effective ball movement.  However, we really have no big dudes so you can only do so much inside.  I'll take this win, but we got lucky with them not hitting shots in the last 10 seconds
