Title says it all.  Can MU overtake either WVU or Pitt to sneak in to the double-bye?  What would have to happen?

We win out, and Pitt loses out.

They would need to get caught with NCAA violations and be penalized or self-impose a ban on postseason play for this season.

yeah.  it'll be settled tonight when pitt plays providence.  game is at home for pitt.  even if they lose tonight, they then get rutgers at home.  odds are probably like 5% that we sneak into the double bye.

Pomeroy puts it at less than 1 percent, about a 7/10s of 1 percent chance to be specific.
