Man...this has been quite the rivalry.  Hopefully we can get a much needed series win.

#10 on this list still angers me.  Up 40pts Pitino was still pressing at the end of the game.  But I guess I shouldn't be surprised, its not like Pitino is a real classy guy.   ;)

At least the author isn't biased.  What a whiner!

I was there for #10. It was like being in hell -- people wearing red all around me, screaming, "don't let up! bring more pain!" it was a horrible experience watching travis helpless on the sidelines.

Yeah, that Gaines shot made me sick. I'm ready to pound Louisville.

The one I remember the most is number 9.  We came back from 19 down.  Wade played unbelievable in the second half.  That game really got me into Marquette basketbal.

Right in line with the numerous mentions of how classless Pitino is from this board, this article gives us this gem.

"Tom Crean began yelling and accused Myles of faking, when in fact the big man had torn his ACL and would be forced to miss the rest of the season as well as the entire 2003-2004 season."

I forgot about the fake Crean quotes for the "bulletin board" material...that's actually pretty funny.

#9 in 03 at Louisville is my favorite. There was a stretch in the 2nd half where Wade scores everytime down the floor with Gaines or Garcia matching him on the other end. Vitale went crazy with something like "whatever you can do, I can do better..."

I think it was a drive/layup from each, a 3-pointer from each, capped off by a dunk from Wade, or something along those lines.  Still one of my favorite moments watching MU basketball, and one of the few times I've appreciated Vitale.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Wade and Gaines each had a steal in that sequence.  Hmm.

Can never and will never forget being at the number 1 game. By far the best game and I've been to with emotions flipping 1000 ways in 15 seconds. Its probably also the hardest loss to take; that's means something with all the bad luck we've had in our past.

How many times have we beat the Ville in the BE? Once? Twice? (Excluding tonight  ;))

Diddo.  I was crushed after #1.  Not only did we have our 28 game home win streak broken, Schroeder Hall's fire alarms had been pulled after the game and the small dorm fridge full of Milwaukees Best Ice was unaccessible.  That was the final blow.

How come there is video of every UL buzzer beater, video of Wardle and Hutchins winners are unable to be found. Not just on this article, in general. I have never seen video of either of those two

Probably due more to recency than anything else.  Much easier to get video and put it on the web than it was 10+ years ago.

Man, I was so fired up after #7.  Those classless bastards were dancing on the court afterwards, and Denny Crum was egging on the crowd.  Then again, Mike Deane's display in #2 was equally ridiculous.
