A bit off topic, but the B11 is managing to shock again. Minnesota leading fellow bubble team Illinois 24-14 at halftime in champaign... YIKES

Also of note, another bubble team OSU is beating #1 Kansas 45-29 at the half and trying to become a lock. Florida is losing to Georgia by 11

PS- DePaul is beating Rutgers by 11 at the half, hopefully they can win another game

Jinxed that lead real quick. DePaul down 5 with 14 to play. haha

Depaul being outscored a solid 24-5 in the second half. I cant believe we actually lost to those inbreds.
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

They lost Wallace for the season (4th leading scorer, 2nd leading rebounder). Still no excuse for being dominated at the RAC.

TheDawson

Its been a roller coaster season for the Illini. They play their two best games of the year and beat MSU and Wisky and then play terrible at Michigan and at home vs Minny

Jay Bee

Illinois settled all first half.. it was brutal.  They couldn't deal with the zone Minnesota threw at them.

Great comeback attempt, but whew, Gophers win (finally) at Assembly.
The portal is NOT closed.

TheDawson

They did settle. They'd take almost all the time of the shot clock and then throw up a 25 footer. Nobody understood they needed to mix it up or try to drive to the basket.

Illinois just went from an 8 or 9 seed to a 11 or 12 with that loss today.

I know MU's RPI isnt the best, but with an RPI of 75 and two difficult games left dont be so sure that UofI is in. A split should do it, but a 10-8 finish with their only good wins against MSU (without best player) and @UW (without 2nd best player) the Illini may need a nice run in the B11 conf tourney

I recently read something about very few teams below a certain RPI getting into the field (I wanna say in the 60s), but I cannot remember what it was. Can anyone help?
