We had just come off of two tough road losses to Rutgers and Villanova in mid Feb. We were 6-5 in conference heading into two tough home games against Pitt and Gtown with one day off between the games. I remember the doubters were out in full force on the message boards and many thought we were done for the NCAA's. The circumstances aren't quite as bad this year because we have one less loss, but they are pretty similiar in many other aspects. I just thought I would bring that up. I will add that I think we will pull through this little tough stretch were in and secure that 3 spot in the BE

Another similarity to last year -- Spiral and I (and Cos) traveled to Pitt & Gtown games at the Bradley center.  We're repeating our trek, and hopefully repeating the record in the games we're going to.  ;D

Every game Rocky and I have gone to in the past two seasons, we've won (4-0).  We were at the Texas Tech and Duke games in Kansas City earlier this season and, as Rocky said, the Pitt and GT home games last year.  This year's trek sets us up to be there for the Louisville and Villanova home games.  Further, we will also be at the Pitt home game.  I am fully expecting to be able to say 7-0 (or better) when I make a similar post at the start of next season.  We are happy to make this sacrifice so that we can win.  The excessive drinking can get tough but we're committed to the cause and willing to take one (or two hundred) for the team.
