Yeah they couldn't pronounce Acker's name and said David instead of Daveed for Cubi.  I love how it even had Odom-Johnson on one of the stat lines too....it's their job and these people can't even spell or pronounce our player's names.

Not only that but the play by play man kept referring to Marquette as the GO DEN Eagles.  There is an "L"  sandwiched between the "O" and the "D" if I'm not mistaken.

...yet I was willing to forgive all of it.  I'd give these guys an Emmy after putting up with Len Elmore the other night.

I almost muted them. They pointed out at least 10 times the following: Marquette is 4th in the country in the 3 pt. shooting and that this is a huge game for the tournament. Okay, we get it. They were terrible.

I thought they were more tolerable than the poop we get with Dickey Simpkins.

Those guys made a lot of mistakes, but I like when the other team's announcers do our games.

Besides, our own Bradley Center PA guy called Cubillan "Dominique" more than once against Pitt so there's not a whole lot of room to complain.

Thankfully, there was only one overtime so we didn't have to listen to another 20 minutes of "Joe Lunardi this" and "both teams on the bubble that"
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.
