Had a question for more expierenced players.

When playing online against friends, can you go play the general public?  For example, me and my buddy want to play online against each other, but just not a 2 person race, but rather join randoms for a 8, 9 or whatever race?

On multiple occasions, my cousin has joined the same multiplayer race I was on (and vice versa) without either of us even knowing it.

Maybe it's just coincidence, but it's happened often enough to make me think that the server attempts to put buddies in the same multiplayer group (maybe if you have a similar number of rating points) whenever possible.

If there's a way to do it without leaving it to chance, I haven't tried it.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
