I would like to apologize for calling you an "epic douche bag."  It was not appropriate, it will not happen again.  I would also like to appologize to the rest of the site for my language.

The Pickle

I don't speak for everyone but would like to say I think we all say things we don't mean at times and God knows I have said worse.  Douche bag happens to be one of my favorite words so it's hard for me to pass judgment.  It's cool man, no worries.

jficke13

please tell me that "The Pickle" has for a namesake the facebook group "Can This Pickle Get More Fans than Nickleback"?

btw... join the group, nobody likes Nickleback:

The Pickle

LOL.  Sorry man, that's not me.  I did see that though.

Jam Chowder

Rocco, that's pretty mature of you dude. Got respect for that.

Rocco

Thanks, I appreciate it.  I just had a bad night.  Im just not a big fan of Chico and I overreacted.  Its all good.

New Era Warriors

Ya man, I think everyone on here gets caught up in the moment at times and says some unnecessary things. I'm glad that you can admit to it, man up and apologize. Hopefully more people here on muscoop will use this thread as a reminder for the future when we might want to say some things that could be offensive.

Let's get it in on Saturday MU!

Do we really care about a big headed trash talker. Stick it to him!!!!
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Sorry I posted that to the wrong post---not meant for Chicos--meant for the bozo player from USF!

Willie Warrior:  Crazy like a fox.

PuertoRicanNightmare

Chicos gets way too much heat around here. The guy is one of the biggest MU fans around. If you read his missives from the NCAA tournament a few years ago, you'd realize it!

He's not happy with the way the coaching hire was handled...neither was I...but he's not anti-Marquette at all!!

Now, the fact that he actually likes our previous coach is a character flaw...I'll give you that.

I don't like the previous coach, I appreciate what he did for Marquette and will always be thankful as a west coast Warrior for bringing us the national attention he did for MU when we hadn't seen that in almost 3 decades.  And to do it without cheating while kids were graduating at 95%+ was terrific.

But no, I don't like the guy but I tip my hat to him.  I love what Buzz is doing so far, hope he can keep it up.

The constant name calling and labeling of people as "Crean lovers" and some of this other crap is real turn off.  1)  It's untrue.  2)  It's silly.

I'm just not going to participate in it.  I love Marquette as much as anyone here.  Yes, I respect the hell out of what the previous coach did for us and have always found it unbelievably hypocritical that our fan base treats those accomplishments and his departure so differently than Majerus and O'Neill's departures.  I call people out on that, but that doesn't make me someone who likes Crean....but yes, I appreciate the hell out of what he accomplished.

If Buzz can keep this going, he will be doing a fine fine job.

Rocco...thanks for the apology.  I responded to your PM as best I can.

I'm out for awhile but will enjoy reading.

Wow, I didn't realize Nickelback was so hated. One of the few modern (last 20 years) bands I can stand. Figures.

jficke13

I'd feel relatively confident saying that Nickleback is one of the worst (if not the worst) band of the last 20 years.

My vote would be for Creed.

But Creed went away.  Nickleback just keeps dropping "hits" and therein lies the problem.

Ahhh ... but then shouldn't blame fall upon the music listening public which affirms the existence of acts like Nickleback through album purchases, radio requests, concert attendance, etc.?

By the way, is Chicos the new Murff (i.e. most discuss forum poster)?

Question 1: Yes.

Question 2: Who is Murff?
Edit... Thanks Rocky.

I read a Playboy interview with the lead singer (didn't care to remember his name) and he basically admits that they make s**t music but the women and money more than make up for that.

Made me hate (and like) him at the same time.  That said, I'll make fun of you if you make the mistake of telling me you like their music.

And they are from Canada and have a massive following there

Blackhat

Dude's got 6,300 posts.

He's definitely made sure he's known as much as Murf.

Murffieus - a former Marquette player (think, Hickey days, that has gotten into quite a number of message board battles.  Perhaps the most [in]famous of which was calling Diener a dime a dozen point guard based off watching a few seconds of internet video - and then defending that call furiously.  He can also be riled up by by discussions of the existence, or lack thereof, of the wide post.  He posts on here every now and then, but usually hangs out over on the Scout site I believe.

I never remember him throwing out insults, but he sure did stir the pot quite a bit.  perhaps that's the comparison with Chicos.
