I rowed for a bit my freshman year before I had a career ending injury.  A rowing buddy of mine from MU is now the Novice Men's coach.  I'll send you a PM with his contact info.

I can tell you, without question, they are an awesome group of kids/coaches.  They have eaten dinner and spent the night at my house for the last 2 Rockford, IL crew events.  (Boy can they EAT!!)  A few kids end up dropping, though, because it's a bit expensive.  Maybe $1000 or so?  Hope this helps.
