Cats creaned the Hoosiers from tipoff to final buzzer in Evanston. He still has the same lame haircut, was clapping when in full camera view, and his ties are just 4 inches too long.

Looks like NU pretty much has their first ever, well deserved ticket punched and Carmody should be Big Ten COY.

Umm...Northwestern is 4-6 in the Big Ten. Their ticket is not anywhere near punched. They are fighting with Minnesota and Illinois for a spot. Would be cool to see them go though.

StillWarriors

I believe they are 5-6 now. 5 players in double figures today-impressive. A shame for them their best player has been out all year too. They would've been a sure thing for the tourney.

Resume'  includes wins over ND and Purdue.

.....ok?

Purdue is a good team. ND? That's not a signature win.

If they win the games they're supposed to, they're looking good.  2 against Iowa, 2 against Penn State, 1 against Indiana, a "playoff" game with Minnesota and a potential marquee win @ Wisconsin.

Win the easier ones, split MN & WI and they're 11-7.

Carmody sure has them playing well w/o their 'star'..., hate to say "wait'll next year...', but man, what an upside they've got.

I can't understand why they win any games, as all their opponents (the other ten teams/coaches) know in advance what they'll be facing, and NU gets its' back door plays, give and goes, etc.  I guess execution will do that for you.
