MU 70, No. 19 UConn 68

Hartford, Conn. -- Lacking both a signature win and a road win, the Marquette Golden Eagles finally earned both in one fell swoop on Saturday afternoon.

Jimmy Butler's fallaway jumper with 2.4 seconds remaining was the difference, as MU outlasted the No. 19 Connecticut Huskies, 70-68, at the XL Center despite playing the final 1:51 without Lazar Hayward, who had fouled out.

The win sparked a jubilant celebration at mid-court by the Golden Eagles, who finally came out on the right end of a last-second affair a number of near-misses.

Great shot by Jimmy but I thought key to the win was DJO making three FTs late in the game. Super effort by all

Wasn't Georgetown a signature win?  Now we have two.

The way Georgetown is playing today against Duke the Georgetown win looks like a signature win to me
