DePaul is beating Syr now 21 -12

6Under20

Would you trade this win for a win at DePaul?  (Although I too would prefer both)

ErickJD08

Every bubble team (which we are) has a bad loss.  It all about how many good wins you have.  And we have some solid wins... Xavier, Michigan, Georgetown, and UConn.  Those wins and plus we have had so many close losses and have yet to be run out of a building.  If we get another quality win and end up 7th or 8th in the Big East, I think we are in.

No, of course not.  His point is we SHOULD have both wins under our belts.

Whoa.. DePaul up by 16 on #4 Syracuse.

Daniel

Koshwal is back for DePaul - he is really opening up the floor for DePaul -will be a very tough game for us next.  31-15 DePaul right now

chapman

Things are starting to go our way.  Our close-game losses have received as much or more positive press than they're worth.  We figured out how to win a close road game.  The Georgetown win keeps getting better and better.  We've played six BE games that were tougher than any of the remaining games on the schedule.

And they look good, let's hope they can keep it up...

Is it too late to hope DePaul becomes a quality loss?  ::)

No quit in our team finally paying off

CTWarrior

I cannot figure this team out for the life of me.  Because of match-ups, of all the games on our conference schedule, I would have thought this was the toughest road game and the DePaul game the easiest.

After DePaul I was thinking that we were going to have trouble getting the plus .500 record to get us into the NIT, and now I think we may make the NCAAs again.

I'm going to enjoy this one for a while.

In the eyes of the committee, does the UCONN win negate the DePaul loss?

Yes, but only if they take care of business at home on Wednesday.

Edit: Maybe "negate" is the wrong word.  "Mitigate" or "offset" may be better.  Let's put it this way, we are better off in the eyes of the committee with a DePaul L and UCONN W than we would be with a DePaul W and UCONN L.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Damn WVU loss
Damn VU loss at home

Both of those games we had the LEAD with less than 30 seconds and lost.

At least the Depaul loss was on the toughest of the three shots.

Markusquette

Apparently Depaul had an 18 point lead.  Let's hope they can hold on and pull out a Win.

Tom Crean's Tanning Bed

Now down 4 with 2 to go.  Collapsing under pressure.

They will win a few more games, maybe not today, and hoping to God not Wednesday.  Playing with a lot more heart/drive under Webster.

This, is the definition of a trap game.  Syracuse up 4 now with 2 minutes to play.

MUCrew

On the coach on this one...used all their time outs by the 8 minute mark.  DePaul really needed one down the stretch.

StillWarriors

Rather than looking at the loss to DePaul, what matters is our upcoming game against DePaul. It will not be easy, but it is crucial we take it to them. If we win (ideally with some breathing room), the loss to DePaul can be viewed as an aberration and I don't think it kills us in light of the quality wins (and arguably losses) we have.

The way DePaul hung with Syracuse should get MU's attention, as if that was necessary after falling to them before. MU had bettter be fired up and ready or DePaul will beat us again. This team should be up for the challenge.

No doubt, DePaul was caught looking ahead to their game with MU. ;D
