Am I crazy, or are people writing about our NCAA chances waaaaaaay more than last year.

Seems we can't go a day without a new thread on some prognosticator or new bracket telling us we're in or out of the Dance.

Let's win a few Big East games, then talk.  We're 500 basketball years away from Selection Sunday.

Well, last year by this time we had pretty much already turned to what our seed would be.

This again?  Why? Who cares? What impact does talking about it now have on anything?

If you don't want to talk about it, don't talk about it, but not sure why you feel the need to tell others what they should or should not be talking about.

Wow. He's got the Johnnies as an 8 seed???? Holy fucka-nut, Batman. I've bought into them all year but I'm not sure they're an 8 seed. And Notre Dame definitely doesn't get in as an 11 seed.

If Marquette finishes 7th or higher we are in. And that looks to me a real possibility.

mu_hilltopper

Now that I think more about this subject .. We should probably start talking about our seed for 2011, 2012 and beyond.

Can't seem to find a bracketology site that goes that far into the future, though.  I wonder why .. clearly, there's a market for it.

NavinRJohnson

Yeah, why on earth would college basketball fans ever want to talk about their team's chances of making the tournament on a message board? Its crazy. They should just look at the next game on the schedule, and no further.

mu_hilltopper

You've totally convinced me, as I said above.    That's why I want to talk 2011 and 2012 seeding.

Start the thread, I'll be your huckleberry.

Didn't say I agreed with all of Jerry's opinions, just posting them in case anyone cares. Had a beverage or two with him before the UConn game last year at Goolsby's. Very nice and intelligent guy. Also has a sarcastic sense of humor like I do.
