I was thinking of the EXACT same analogy.  Now...Rex atleast got us to the SuperBowl....we'll have to wait and see what DJ does for MU.

I think Crean allowed him to eat humble pie towards the end.

I expect him to rein him in...tell him in his good ear, "See what we (coaches) have been telling you"...and DJ is going to turn in some late night shooting drills.
