If it does refer to bball, coming to Wisconsin from the south is a tough decision on its own.  It's probably natural to have some cold feet.  Hopefully it is nothing more than that.

Pretty sure this thread servers no good purpose but to cause rampant panic....that status could be anything including as significant as his having switched high schools for his senior year or benign as his deciding to eat too many wings last night.

haha.  Florida and Georgia are having some big cold spells.  I think the Orange Bowl was the coldest on record in Miami.  That weather could have been a slice of life for him.

It's less weird if the people doing the "friending" are students...at least they're only 2-3 years older than the player. But yes, I agree.

I think the kids have an official term for this... when Vander grabbed 22 boards, he put his stats in a status update... some kids were posting random things.. and then Mark Miller posts something like, "wow 22 boards, really?  that's great!".  And so next to his comment, there's a picture of Mark Miller (older dude).. some girl then replies, "Creeper?"
