Toughts on the next two games?
« on: January 10, 2010, 11:39:03 AM »

I think we really need the upcomng game against Providence. I know "must win" is an overused phrase, but this game seems to be one of them. If we are unable to beat the Friars, then all the discussions about what it takes for NCAA bid pretty much sail out the window. Providence is in the same boat as us, and are 2-2 in conference. They will be looking at this game as a key win for them. I expect it will be a battle

DePaul certainly looks easy, but if we cannot take care of biz Saturday, the team may be in a rough state of mind.

Agree.  Need to build upon the past two weeks and take care of business.  BTW, the Providence game is on Sunday at 3:00 (which is weird as there is no ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU coverage).

absolutely must wins if we have hope for the NCAA.  Two very winnable games.  The team must now deal with actually being favored in these two games and take care of business.
